Battle Kurdish and ISIS Kills 40 People

At least 40 Kurdish fighters and the militant group Islamic extremists State (ISIS) were killed in fighting in northern Syria. Kurds trying to defend the city in the province of Tal Tamr Hasakeh of ISIS hand. "The exchange of fire occurred in the last 24 hours around Tal Tamr, which killed 40 people," said group chief Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Rami Abdel Rahman, Sunday (08/03/2015). 

As quoted by AFP, the clashes began when ISIS move approaching Tal Tamr. Kurds did not stay silent. They call in reinforcements and managed to repel the militants. ISIS try to grab Tal Tamr because its strategic location. If captured, ISIS can dominate a key pathway Hasakeh area and the border into Iraq. 

 Meanwhile eleven civilians were killed in an air strike in Irbin Syrian government, rebel-held town. Other Fighting also erupted in Aleppo, between government forces and Al-Nusra Front, one affiliated extremist group Al Qaeda.
